My first steps with NuFW

Hello,

I tested for the first time Nufw and this is the list of some points I noticed :

- not easy to compile, many files are missing in the client part - users into openldap works but not the acl's, or I didn't find yet how ;-) - I was not able to compile the gnome client - no free version for windope

Hello,

I tested for the first time Nufw and this is the list of some points I noticed :

– not easy to compile, many files are missing in the client part
– users into openldap works but not the acl’s, or I didn’t find yet how 😉
– I was not able to compile the gnome client
– no free version for windope

When everything is compiled and running, it’s pretty fun to work with, even if my authentication client is only in command line. But I really thing that the client for windope should be also free. Having a free version for, and it’s pitty, the most spread os on client side, will push such solution much more ahead.

When I’ll have a bit more time, I plan to test it again trying to compile the gui version of the client.
